Flowers - Free to a good home

"Free Plants"

It took little more than a handwritten sign made with a piece of cardboard from a cat litter box, haphazardly taped with black electric tape onto a bamboo stake and poked into the grass on the front lawn.....

How "Intentional" became my word of 2018

I don't normally do "The WORD" thing. I've nothing against it, and was happy to support those who did it every year. Contemplation is a good thing, but it's .... Completely not my thing... Until now I've managed to avoid becoming a "word for the year" kind of person   Staying away from any places where there might be talk about choosing your "word for the upcoming year" or situations that might possibly make "the word" part of my life...of course, well meaning friends would say..." oh, you have to get a word, it will change your life. Then I realized....a blog post is like a tree in the forest.   If it's been written, someone will read it and even if they don't leave a comment it's still be...

As The River Runs

It's the dominant year at the Adams River Salmon Run in Chase, BC and what a spectacular sight it was. Click on either image to read the full blog post via Adobe Spark.
